Jane KruegerAs a senior director of Government Systems for Rockwell Collins, Jane is leading engineers to the next evolution in state-of-the-art military technologies.

She started her engineering career when she fell in love with COBOL programming. Her first job with Rockwell Collins was working on the Boeing 747 cockpit and the revolutionary Pro Line 21 display for business & regional jets.

Today, Jane's group is working to reinvent Global Positioning Systems (GPS) from the ground up, for use in military applications. She's also leading a team to build the first military radio that uses digitally-defined waveforms. The new format will allow transmissions to change frequencies in a split-second, synchronized with other radios also receiving the transmission. This capability dramatically increases security. It's also the first Software Defined Radio (SDR) for military use, allowing fast upgrades of technology in the field and increased reliability.

We're looking for the next Jane Krueger.
