Rockwell Collins provides specialized engineering and technical services at each of its offices nationwide, as well as on-site
within our customers' facilities. Rockwell Collins has earned an exceptional reputation on our U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy
programs for implementing and operating Trainer Software Support Centers (TSSC) and supporting on-base programs. In each of these programs, Rockwell Collins has supplied technical talent across a
wide range of skills and capabilities. These have included: systems engineering, software and hardware engineering, logistical
support, configuration management, technical publications, network administration, database development and subject matter
expertise. Our TSSC activities support routine improvements and maintenance of trainer hardware and software systems, and
the development and expansion of visual and sensor databases to correspond with evolving mission requirements.
Rockwell Collins offers a full range of product life-cycle logistics support plans to operate and maintain installed simulators
and associated training systems. At Rockwell Collins, we make it a priority to create and maintain a product that is efficient,
technologically advanced, and enjoyable to use. To extend our commitment to customer satisfaction beyond installation, we
provide for the daily management, operations, maintenance, and repair of training devices and their related support equipment
and spares support packages. In addition, we can tailor a customized support plan to include such features as on-call telephone
technical support, repair and maintenance expertise, depot level equipment repair, product service bulletins and designs for
pre-planned product improvements. Rockwell Collins accomplishes these tasks by providing experienced in-plant and site personnel,
efficient support processes and tools in each of these product support areas. Rockwell Collins operation and maintenance efforts
consistently provide sustained mission ready training availability rates of 99 percent or better. Quality control, concurrency
management, baseline change control, and pre-planned product improvements are our main goals as we work with customer staff
to maintain their advanced training and information systems.
